About Me

I have studied in La Martiniere Kolkata upto Class XII and then did my B.Com (Hons) graduation from Kolkata University. I joined Tata Tea as a Management Trainee and then leaft India to work abroad in 1988. I have lived and worked in various parts of the world from 1988 to 1995 and then migrated to Canada in 1996 with my wife and son. My professional background is in the world of global logistics and shipping, but I have also spent a considerable amount of time (largely as volunteer) in teaching English to newcomers in Canada (including children). I love to teach and now having returned back to India with my wife, I wish to pursue my passion. I am currently working with a Trust to teach spoken English to children in the rural villages of West Bengal.
