About Me
In my now sixteen years of teaching, I can honestly say I have learned more as a teacher of the IB Curriculum than I could have imagined. Even as a child I knew my two passions were animals and children. They have so much in common: both free, both riding on instinct, both pure in their response to the world. I grew up to study Zoology as my Bachelors Degree, and within a month into my first summer post graduation in 2009, I landed my first role in education as an assistant teacher. Since then, I have come a long way and grown tremendously with my students. Today, at age thirty-seven, I am now the Service As Action Coordinator at my current school as well as an MYP Integrated Sciences teacher.
