About Me
Growing up I was invested in reading, writing, and art. After graduating high school, I pursued creative method through digital formats through a Bachelor of Arts Degree in New Media Production and Design at the University of Lethbridge. I grew to have a love of European languages and culture, so I would eventually go backpacking around Europe for two and a half months. It is here where I picked up an interest in teaching as a foreign language. Last summer I took the plunge to get my TESOL certification at Bow Valley College. I learned valuable theory and methods behind teaching and practiced my teaching to real students through a full practicum. This past fall I was hired by International House Bydgoszcz. Here I practiced as a full-time English teacher with 7 classes totalling 22 contact hours per week. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to family circumstances, but I am confident Emma will provide me a solid referral.
