About Me
The pedagogical approaches I possess within the classroom are more efficiently shown through inquiry- based learning, social pedagogy, and constructivism. I believe that while the role of a teacher is to deliver the standardized curriculum within school hours, our position can be much more than this as well. Being able to recognize students beyond their classroom capabilities and form connections through learning can create a more individualized plan for success for the prospective student. Moreover, I believe in creating a strong classroom environment that is connected and supportive. While teachers spend the majority of time with a student, especially during their developmental phase, creating a home away from home is key to creating a comfortable and vulnerable learning environment where students feel at ease to make 'mistakes' .
