About Me
I am a passionate and dedicated researcher with a strong background in biodiversity, particularly in avian species. My journey began with a master's dissertation titled 'A comparative assessment of avian species richness of IISER-M using manual and passive acoustic methods,' where I explored the fascinating world of birds through both traditional and innovative techniques. This project allowed me to examine spatial and temporal patterns in avian species richness and the utility of acoustic indices in predicting biodiversity patterns. My academic pursuits are driven by a deep-seated curiosity about evolutionary processes and species diversity, which I aim to further explore through a PhD focused on landscape genetics and biodiversity patterns. I have a solid interdisciplinary foundation and am keen to utilize molecular biology tools and next-generation sequencing techniques in my research.
