I have been working for more than 25 years in academics with my role varying from regular teaching to mentoring students and faculty and supporting management in administrative tasks. My research area is Natural Language Processing and I am especially interested in language technology in Indian context. My contribution in meticulously detail-oriented organization of five international conferences and workshops apart from national level conferences, workshops and events such as hackathons has been appreciated by all participants and seniors. During my tenure as Head of the Department, I played a significant role in getting NBA accreditation for B.Tech. (IT) programme. My objective has always been to encourage my team to exceed their potential and expectations. I have demonstrated ethics, integrity, sincerity and honesty in all the tasks I have undertaken in my career. I am also a highly motivated teacher who enjoys being in the class room and a strong team player.
