Hello My name is Heli and I am a fourth year Neuroscience student. I would like to join the Neuroscience Student Association as I have always loved teaching and as a mentor. I am able to help my fellow peers gain a better perspective on Neuroscience and its related topics by sharing my academic experiences. Moreover, I would also like to help my fellow peers to develop a strong academic foundation that they require to smoothly transition throughout their degree. Also, previously I have tutored/mentored with the Big Brothers and Big sisters organization of Edmonton. And had been actively involved with my school mentoring program. During time out of classes painting, gardening, and reading about the space are some of my favorite things to do. Currently, I am working on learning how to oil paint ( it’s quite messy!!).Furthermore, I hope that I am able to meet your expectations as a mentor and make your learning experience more enjoyable and interesting.
