About Me
I have developed a unique professional educator's skill set through a combination of one-on-tutoring and Museum Education. Working as a Public Historian within museum and nonprofit sectors, I have become adept at tailoring my teaching methods to students of all age levels, learning styles, and backgrounds. My passion for history has zero boundaries. Yet, while I am qualified to teach a vast array of national and global history topics, my drive for learning and embracing challenges to my own education philosophies and areas of topic familiarity pushes me to keep abreast of current trends in history and education techniques. I pay attention to those that emphasize topics outside of my comfort zone, such as Ethnic Studies, philosophy, and political theory to name a few areas of my scholarly interest. No humanities topic is unteachable, in my mind. It's just a matter of drive to explore the unknown.
