Good morning, Sir/Ma’am. My name is Rakhi Verma. I am a qualified Library and Information Science professional with experience in library management and student services. I have knowledge of important areas such as DDC classification, cataloguing, accessioning, circulation, OPAC, reference services, library automation, Koha, MARC 21, RDA, RFID, digital libraries, e-resources and information literacy. I am comfortable managing library resources as well as assisting students and teachers in finding the right information. I also believe that a modern library should be an engaging learning space where students develop reading habits, research skills and information-literacy skills.
