In this role, you will provide remote assistance to fellow college students, offering guidance, answering questions, and helping them navigate various academic and administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

  1. Academic Assistance: Provide academic support by answering questions related to coursework, assignments, and study strategies.

  2. Admissions and Enrollment: Assist prospective students with the admissions and enrollment process, explaining requirements and deadlines.

  3. Course Registration: Guide current students through course registration, helping them select appropriate classes and understand degree requirements.

  4. Technical Support: Offer technical assistance with online learning platforms, troubleshooting issues related to access, assignments, or virtual classrooms.

  5. Financial Aid Guidance: Help students navigate financial aid applications, scholarships, and understanding their funding options.

  6. Time Management: Offer tips and strategies for effective time management, study habits, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

  7. Career Services: Provide information on career services, resume building, internship opportunities, and job search techniques.

  8. Campus Resources: Familiarize students with campus resources, such as libraries, tutoring centers, and counseling services.

  9. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as document submissions, transcript requests, and fee payments.

  10. Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from students to improve the online learning experience and recommend improvements to the institution.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment as a college student in Canada.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy and the ability to relate to the challenges students face.
  • Proficiency in using online communication tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of college policies, procedures, and resources is a plus.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
