As an Online Quran Teaching Instructor based in Abu Dhabi, your primary role will be to provide comprehensive and authentic Quranic education to students of various ages and backgrounds through online platforms. You will serve as a guide and mentor, imparting knowledge of Quranic recitation, Tajweed (pronunciation rules), and Islamic teachings, while fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the Quran.

Responsibilities:

1. Virtual Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive online Quranic lessons to students, focusing on proper Quranic recitation, pronunciation, and understanding. Adapt your teaching style to cater to different learning abilities and preferences.

2. Tajweed Mastery: Teach students the rules of Tajweed, ensuring accurate pronunciation, articulation, and intonation during Quranic recitation. Provide individualized feedback to help students improve their recitation skills.

3. Quranic Interpretation: Guide students in comprehending the meanings and interpretations (Tafsir) of Quranic verses, fostering a deeper understanding of the messages and lessons within the Quran.

4. Islamic Etiquette: Educate students about the etiquette, values, and morals emphasized in the Quran, promoting ethical behavior, respect, and compassion.

5. Memorization (Hifz) Support: Assist students in memorizing selected Quranic verses or chapters (Surahs) by providing effective memorization techniques, regular revision, and motivational guidance.

6. Quranic Sciences: Introduce students to the broader context of Quranic studies, including the historical, linguistic, and thematic aspects of the Quran.

7. Cultural Sensitivity: Create a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment that values the diversity of students' backgrounds and perspectives.

8. Feedback and Progress Assessment: Evaluate students' Quranic recitation and understanding through regular assessments, quizzes, and recitation sessions. Provide constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.

9. Islamic Values Education: Incorporate lessons on Islamic values, ethics, and character development into Quranic instruction, promoting holistic personal growth.

10. Individualized Support: Offer one-on-one guidance and support to address students' questions, concerns, and challenges related to Quranic studies.

11. Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents or guardians, sharing students' progress, goals, and areas for improvement.

12. Technology Proficiency: Utilize online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and educational technology effectively to deliver seamless virtual Quranic lessons.

13. Continual Learning: Stay informed about advancements in Quranic studies, educational methodologies, and online teaching practices to enhance your effectiveness as an online Quran Teaching Instructor.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in recitation of the Quran with proper Tajweed.
• Deep understanding of Quranic verses and their meanings, as well as knowledge of Tafsir (interpretation) and related Islamic sciences.
• A strong commitment to upholding Islamic values and fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic and/or English, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Experience in teaching Quranic studies, preferably in an online or virtual setting.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and video conferencing tools.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Residency or authorization to work in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, if applicable.
