As a High School Math & Science Teacher/Tutor, you will play a key role in providing academic support and instruction to high school students in the subjects of Mathematics and Science. 5. Test Preparation: Prepare students for exams, quizzes, and standardized tests, offering study strategies and practice questions.

6. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess students' academic progress, track their performance, and provide feedback to students and parents.

7. Classroom Management: Create a positive and conducive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

8. Technology Integration: Utilize educational technology and online resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: A bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field is required.

2. Teaching Experience: Previous experience as a high school Math and/or Science teacher or tutor is preferred.

3. Subject Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in teaching high school Mathematics and Science subjects, with a strong command of the curriculum.

4. Teaching Certification: Possession of a valid teaching certificate issued by the Alberta Ministry of Education is advantageous.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts and instructions to students.

6. Patience and Empathy: Display patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude while working with students to ensure their academic success.

7. Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using educational technology and online teaching platforms.
