Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Online Chemical Engineering Tutor to provide comprehensive instruction and guidance to B.Tech students in the field of Chemical Engineering. As an Online Chemical Engineering Tutor, you will be responsible for conducting virtual tutoring sessions, teaching core concepts and principles, and helping students develop a strong foundation in Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct virtual tutoring sessions for B.Tech students studying Chemical Engineering.
2. Deliver comprehensive and interactive lessons on core Chemical Engineering subjects, including thermodynamics, transport phenomena, reaction engineering, process control, and unit operations.
3. Explain fundamental principles and theories in Chemical Engineering, ensuring students understand key concepts and their practical applications.
4. Teach problem-solving strategies and analytical techniques relevant to Chemical Engineering problem sets.
5. Assist students in understanding and applying engineering principles to design and optimize chemical processes.
6. Provide guidance on laboratory techniques, experimental design, and data analysis related to Chemical Engineering experiments.
7. Facilitate discussions and engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving related to Chemical Engineering.
8. Assign and review homework assignments, projects, and assessments to reinforce learning and assess students' understanding.
9. Evaluate student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement.
10. Identify areas of weakness or difficulty for individual students and develop targeted remediation strategies.
11. Stay updated with the latest advancements, research findings, and emerging trends in the field of Chemical Engineering.
12. Collaborate with students to review and analyze their work, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
13. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and other relevant data.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. A higher degree is preferred.
2. Proven experience as a Chemical Engineering tutor, instructor, or educator, with a focus on B.Tech level students.
3. Strong knowledge and expertise in core Chemical Engineering subjects, including thermodynamics, transport phenomena, reaction engineering, process control, and unit operations.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
5. Strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.
6. Familiarity with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and virtual laboratory simulations.
7. Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles.
8. Prior experience in Chemical Engineering research or industry is desirable.
9. Availability to conduct tutoring sessions on weekdays, weekends, or evenings, as per student availability.
