Job Description

Level: Key Stage 1 & 2

Role Overview:

Teach Punjabi language (speaking, reading, and writing – Gurmukhi script) to primary school students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop basic vocabulary and conversational skills.
• Teach reading and writing fundamentals.
• Introduce Punjabi culture and traditions.
• Prepare students for community language exams (if applicable).

Requirements:

• Fluent in Punjabi (written and spoken).
• Experience teaching children.
• Ability to make language learning interactive.
