About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Urdu Teacher to join our academic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Urdu language instruction, fostering a love for literature, and helping students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Urdu language lessons aligned with the school curriculum
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and Urdu literature
• Create interactive lesson plans to engage students of varying learning levels
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and classroom activities
• Provide constructive feedback and support student development
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and participate in school activities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urdu, Education, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Urdu (school or tutoring experience preferred)
• Strong command of written and spoken Urdu
• Good communication skills in English (mandatory)
• Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
• Passion for teaching and student development

Preferred Qualifications

• Teaching certification (e.g., B.Ed. or equivalent)
• Experience with CBSE, ICSE, IB, or British curriculum
• Prior experience teaching in the UAE or international schools
