Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced online tutor to provide mathematics and English tutoring for Class 10 students preparing for the CBSE Board Exam. As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and effective online lessons to help students improve their understanding of mathematics concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve success in the board examination.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-on-one or small group online tutoring sessions to Class 10 students.

2. Create a structured learning plan and customize lessons based on individual student needs and the CBSE Board Exam syllabus.

3. Teach and explain mathematics concepts in a clear and concise manner, ensuring student comprehension.

4. Use a variety of teaching techniques, resources, and tools to make lessons interactive and engaging.

5. Help students practice and apply mathematical concepts through problem-solving exercises, assignments, and practice tests.

6. Identify areas of weakness or gaps in student knowledge and provide targeted remedial instruction.

7. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on performance and areas for improvement.

8. Collaborate with students' parents or guardians to understand their expectations and provide updates on student progress.

9. Stay up-to-date with the CBSE Board Exam curriculum and any changes in the mathematics syllabus.

10. Maintain records of tutoring sessions, student attendance, and progress reports.

Requirements:

1. Strong expertise in Class 10 mathematics concepts, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.

2. In-depth knowledge of the CBSE Board Exam syllabus and examination pattern.

3. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics to Class 10 students.

4. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.

5. Familiarity with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and digital resources for delivering online lessons.

6. Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.

7. Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions.

8. Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals.

9. Flexibility in scheduling tutoring sessions to accommodate students' availability.

Education and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

2. Teaching certification or relevant tutoring qualifications.

3. Prior experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at the Class 10 level.

4. Familiarity with the CBSE Board Exam and its requirements.
