Job Description

Job Summary: An online tutor is responsible for providing educational support and instruction to students via online platforms. The tutor will assist students in understanding and mastering subjects, answering questions, and facilitating learning through virtual sessions. Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Online Sessions: Plan and conduct virtual tutoring sessions for students on a one-on-one or small group basis.

5. Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and knowledge.

7. Time Management: Schedule and manage tutoring sessions, keeping accurate records of sessions, progress, and student performance.

8. Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with students and, if applicable, their parents or guardians, regarding progress and concerns.

9. Stay Updated: Stay informed about curriculum changes, educational trends, and new teaching techniques in the relevant subject area.

10. Technical Proficiency: Be proficient in using online tutoring platforms, video conferencing tools, and other necessary technology.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience, especially in an online setting, is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.
