Job Summary: As a College Tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to help them understand course material, improve their grades, and develop effective study habits. You will have the opportunity to tutor students in your area(s) of expertise, ranging from mathematics and sciences to languages, humanities, and social sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized tutoring sessions in-person or online, focusing on the student’s specific academic needs.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, test preparation, and comprehension of course material.
• Develop customized learning strategies and resources tailored to each student’s learning style.
• Track and report on student progress, providing feedback to students and parents (if applicable).
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized college or university in Toronto, Ontario.
• Strong academic performance in the subject(s) you wish to tutor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset but not required.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping others succeed academically.
• Ability to commit to a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
• Reliable internet connection for online tutoring sessions.
