Job Summary:

The Student Coordinator plays a key role in managing student-related activities, supporting academic programs, and fostering engagement within the student community. This position involves coordinating events, providing administrative support, and serving as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to enhance the overall student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Support & Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for student inquiries and concerns.
  • Assist students with onboarding, registration, and orientation programs.
  • Facilitate student engagement initiatives, including clubs, mentorship programs, and extracurricular activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to student organizations and leadership groups.

Event & Program Coordination:

  • Plan and organize student events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Coordinate logistics for academic and social programs.
  • Work with faculty and administrative teams to enhance student participation in campus activities.
  • Promote events through various communication channels, including social media and newsletters.

Administrative & Communication Support:

  • Maintain student records and databases.
  • Prepare reports, meeting agendas, and documentation related to student affairs.
  • Manage student feedback and surveys to improve programs and services.
  • Assist with communication between students, faculty, and administration.

Academic & Career Support:

  • Collaborate with academic advisors to guide students on coursework and academic progress.
  • Support career development initiatives such as internships, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Provide information on scholarships, grants, and financial aid programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Student Affairs, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in student services, event planning, or academic administration is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and student management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an educational institution or student-focused role.
  • Familiarity with student engagement platforms and learning management systems.
  • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Work Environment:

  • Office and campus setting with occasional evening or weekend events.
  • Interaction with students, faculty, and staff regularly.
