Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Online Data Analyst Intern to assist in collecting, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data to support business decisions. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, visualization, and reporting, providing an opportunity to work with real-world datasets and gain insights into data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and preprocess raw data from various online sources, databases, and APIs.
• Data Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards, charts, and reports using tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
• Database Management: Assist in maintaining and organizing structured and unstructured data in databases such as SQL, NoSQL, or Google BigQuery.
• Machine Learning (Optional): Work on predictive models and basic machine learning algorithms under supervision.
• Business Insights: Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product management, to support data-driven initiatives.
• Automation: Assist in automating data extraction and reporting processes using Python, R, or SQL.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Data Analysis ToolPak)
  • Knowledge of SQL for data querying
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
  • Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio)
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setup
• Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
  • Experience with web scraping, APIs, or big data tools (Hadoop, Spark)
  • Exposure to machine learning models and AI analytics
  • Understanding of A/B testing and statistical analysis
