About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineering Business Analyst Intern to join our team in Pune. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to analyze requirements, optimize workflows, and support the development of innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to gather, document, and analyze software requirements.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Work on process mapping, workflow automation, and system enhancements.
• Support the development team with functional specifications and user stories.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to enhance product offerings.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Assist in preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for key stakeholders.
• Test software features and validate functionalities before deployment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL, data visualization tools, or programming languages (Python, Java, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
