About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced TGT Social Science (SST) Teacher to teach middle school students (Classes VI–X). The ideal candidate should be able to make subjects like History, Geography, Civics, and Economics engaging and relatable while fostering analytical and critical thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum
• Teach core subjects including History, Geography, Political Science (Civics), and Economics
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments to enhance student learning
• Encourage discussions, debates, and project-based learning
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare students for school exams and board assessments
• Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in school activities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Social Science, History, Geography, or related field
• B.Ed. (mandatory)
• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school
• Strong subject knowledge across SST disciplines
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to make learning interactive and student-centric

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with smart classrooms and digital teaching tools
• Strong focus on experiential and activity-based learning
• Prior experience handling Classes VI–X
