About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will inspire students of senior secondary classes (Grades 11–12) to develop strong language, literature, and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to senior secondary students (Grades 11 & 12) as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
- Develop engaging lesson plans covering literature, grammar, writing, and comprehension
- Prepare students for board examinations with structured revision strategies
- Foster analytical thinking through discussions on prose, poetry, and drama
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and provide constructive feedback
- Encourage participation in debates, creative writing, and literary activities
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in school events
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in English (M.A. English)
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- In-depth knowledge of CBSE/ICSE curriculum and exam patterns
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching (smart boards, digital tools)
