According to the data, which has been collected from the US department of education shows that the tuition costs of the college students is increasing with the every coming year. This happens due to various reasons. It not only affects the lives of the common people but also the life of many brilliant students. The data shows that there is about 39 percent hike in the tuitions of the college students since 2003 up to now. There are following reasons why the tuitions rates are raising: –
- Inflation: – with the rise in inflation in the society unfortunately shows much effect on the tuition fees of the students. Now in the colleges and private institutes the tuition costs is above the salary which a student get in its first year of work.
- Cutting off the funds: – The funds are cut by the institutions because government charges from them for the philanthropic reason and endowments.
- Competition: – it is the competition based on the ability of the students. The university which is creating more successful candidates and provide them job placement. They raise their bar of tuitions cost because they somewhat increase the facilities to compete I the market.
- Demand: – this also the demand of the students that they need a degree from the reputable college so they choose to go for it without concerning the prices which they are taking for it.
