Yeah! Its test time again. It happens many times that you enter the test centre with pre test jitters and while starting to write test, you suddenly turn blank and cannot recall anything. This is nothing but test related anxiety and stress. As a student, you should always be prepared to write tests. - Sleep well:- Though you have less time for preparation for tests, do not compromise your sleep as it affects the functioning of your brain and senses. You feel less alert and active due to lack of sleep. So take at least 6-8 hours sleep before writing the tests.
- Eat well: Before leaving for a tests, always eat light and healthy snacks. Fried stuff and junk food creates acidity and spoils your concentration for writing the test.
- Study Smart: Always finish your syllabus on time well in advance and do the revisions a day before test. Also, try to avoid last minute revisions. If possible, try to make point wise notes before exams for a refined revision of the material you have studied.
- Practice: Practice makes us perfect. Try to solve sample test papers for better time management and to check your understanding and level of preparation before exams.
- Keep calm on the test day:- This will not only conserve your much needed energy but also help you focus on the syllabus and keeps your mind free of clutter and other disturbing stuff.
